Ritec’s new 15 KWRMS Pulser-Receiver System
Ritec is proud to introduce the new RPR-4000-HP High Power Pulser-Receiver System. Developed at the request of one of the worlds largest steel corporations, the RPR-4000-HP is a toneburst pulser-receiver system designed for some of the most demanding EMAT applications.
The RPR-4000-HP features a high power pulser capable of output levels exceeding 15 KWRMS (> 2500Vp-p into 50 Ohms @ 0.3% duty cycle). Don’t be fooled by imitators, this is a rating of true RMS power from a Class AB Gated RF Amplifier. In terms of peak power, the RPR-4000-HP produces >30 KW Peak. In applications where saturated power is suitable, the RPR-4000-HP will produce in excess of 20 KWRMS (40 KW Peak). It should be noted that this performance is maintained over a bandwidth of >1 decade over frequency ranges between 20 KHz and >3 MHz. This tremendous amount of power also lends itself to applications involving highly attenuative and highly dispersive materials such as Concrete, Rubber, Wood and Composites, as well as applications involving air-coupled UT.
Complimenting the high power pulse source is a low noise, high gain (100dB) broadband receiver.
All of the RPR-4000-HP’s functions are controlled either by a front panel key pad and LCD display, or through computer control.
